Mount Trio Cabernet Merlot 750ml

Attractive nose with loads of dark berry fruit aromas complexed by the smoky oak characters picked up during barrel maturation. This is a well flavoured and well structured wine with lovely sweet black berry fruits on the palate, a good clean acidity and a gentle tannin structure. The generous dark berry fruit flavours are well integrated after its time in French oak plus a few months in bottle. Cabernet Sauvignon is renowned for its fine structure and persistence of flavour and palate length and the Merlot (with the Malbec & Shiraz) only adds to this; producing a wine that is approachable now and will also handle further bottle age.
